I was hiking in East L.A.!! And I really enjoyed it!! Don’t let location snobs exclude you from enjoying a great hike with nice views of SGV DTLA and toward south LA!! 600’ of incline makes for a moderate challenge and gets me back into hiking and helps me sweat out the toxins!! 😅 😅 nice views, nice pond, nice people!!
A hidden gem 💎 they have the space for class and community learning. Our school came to do some bird watching and learn about the science and practice. They enjoyed it plenty! Thank you kindly staff for being so welcoming and for taking care of this wonderful place 💕
Beautiful park with trails. If you go up the trail that goes up the big hill you will find a beautiful lake with turtles. The air is fresh, views are fantastic, and parking is free.
I love the park and the walks here, serve as a workout. You can also bring food and have a picnic. You can see the LA buildings from the top of the mountain.
There is fish and turtlea in the lake. I have posted pics here for you guys to see.
A sizable hillside park in Northwest LA with great views and multiple trails for a good hike or trail run. The hills are steeper than I expected but yeah the views at the top is definitely worth it.
There are multiple trailheads and access points to the park so you can enter the park from both Arroyo Seco and Huntington Dr. The best views and trails are in the north half of the park, which is steeper too. In the south half, there is a big picnic and recreational area with public restrooms onsite, by the parking lot in the middle of the park.
