  This is the perfect place to go to for spider vein treatment. Doctor is very thorough, professional, and flawless in his quality of work. It took me an hour just to drive here but it was well worth the effort and expense. I will definitely return to Nu Vela if I ever need removal of spider veins again but, honestly Doctor did such a phenomenol job, I don't know that I would even have to go back !

  It was during my last vacation in Los Angeles when I went to see Dr. Dishakjian of Nu Vela to have a dark blue under eye vein removed. I had chosen the place and the doctor based on good reviews and detailed information provided in their website. The procedure was as described. I hardly felt any pain during the application of laser, and my unsightly vein disappeared in only 3 days without leaving a trace. What a wonderful job! I was so impressed that I decided to write a review to help others make the right doctor choice for their facial veins.

  I am currently 38 years of age and last year began to notice the appearance of varicose veins on the inner side of my left calf. I've been tanning all summer to try to cover it up and finally decided to take a more permanent solution.
  I found Nu Vela Esthetica online and saw that they had pretty good reviews so I made an appointment. At my consultation I met with Dr. D and he was very reassuring and informative. He started out by explaining to me the causes of varicose veins and that it is a very common problem and he has dealt with thousands of these cases. I like most people will try to avoid surgery at all costs, so Dr. D presented me with a few minimally invasive options. Together we decided that the EVLT treatment was the best option. I had the procedure done that same week. It has now been a week and a half with wearing the compression stockings and the results are great. People tell me they can't even tell I ever had the varicose veins there. I would definitely recommend others for this type of treatment. Thanks Dr. D!

  About five years ago I began to notice a sun spot appearing above my cheek bone right below my right eye. It has gradually grown darker and to the size of a penny, so i decided to finally do something about it. I found Nu Vela through Yelp and saw that they had good reviews so I set an appt.
  The office was very chic and stylish. The staff was also courteous. During the consultation, Dr. D was very helpful. He explained to me how sun spots come about and also how to avoid them in the future. He also gave me some options other than the procedure itself. After all the information, I decided that the laser treatment would be the best option.
  The procedure was just as Dr. D had described it. It wasn't painful at all, just a little tickling scratching sensation. After my first treatment, I already see dramatic improvement. Dr. D has told me it may only take 1 or 2 more treatments and it will be gone.
  I am very happy with my results at Nu Vela Esthetica. Good job Dr. D!
