I have been seeing Sepi for almost a year now. I was just finishing up with traditional physical therapy at another location when I started. As my time was ending at the other place I knew I needed to continue therapy in some capacity. The traditional strengthening, stretching, etc. did help me to have improvement but I knew I needed something more.

I was so hopeful when I saw that myofascial release was offered relatively close to my house. I was hopeful but still a little skeptical. The therapy that she offers is unlike anything else. It is done in a very relaxing & gentle manner. She also feels & listens to the body in a way where I barely have to tell her what is ailing me. She just knows where to go. She also really cares about her patients and getting to know them and what is going on in their life.

All of this combined helps to facilitate an over all healing on so many levels. The original ailment that I went to her for is pretty much cleared up with an occasional flare up, but nothing like it was before. I am now on a maintenance schedule for general stress relief about once a month. What would you pay to have less pain & stress built up in your body? Stress is a constant in our lives and there are many tools that we can use to mitigate this. Sepi's from the heart approach is one that I will gladly carry in my tool box for the ongoing future.

Also, the entire office is just a pleasure to visit. Alex at the front desk is so sweet and helpful to work out the logistics with. Sepi & her make a great team at giving the patients an overall enjoyable experience.

I have delt with horrific periods my whole life and I never would imagine my life changed within one session with the team at from the heart with myofascial release. I had just about given up with trying to find a solution to my painful periods, I had gone to numerous doctors looking for relief and the only solution seemed to be birth control which was counterproductive at the time since I was trying to get pregnant. The pain that I experienced was debilitating, I would become sick, get terrible headaches and the pelvic pain was excruciating. Sepi worked on me and was able to tell me my pelvis was off and help me with realignment, since then I have not had to miss work due to pain infact I forget that I’m even on my period, I am in utter amazement as before I use to have to take medication just to take the edge off still being doubled over in pain. This is just the beginning of the amazing work I have received here, she has helped with my TMJ as well. Even last month I came in barely able to move my neck and that day I walked out with range of motion back after Erin worked on me, I was so happy it brought tears to my eyes.

I have been going to this facility since March of 2022. It came highly recommended by my pain management Physician at Cedars-Sinai. I dislocated one finger at the start of the pandemic. While I started off at a highly credible facility with an orthopedic surgeon, she failed to properly diagnose the injury for several months. At that point I felt the need to reached out to my PCP at Cedar’s to recommended an orthopedic surgeon so I could seek a second opinion. The orthopedic surgeon at Cedars-Sinai was actually able to diagnose the dislocation and reset/reduce the finger on my first visit. I was then advised by him to undergo aggressive occupational therapy twice a week at Cedars-Sinai. He referred me to pain management who in turn had me undergo several sessions with a surgeon of Stellate ganglion blocks as well as IV infusions to control the pain which provided little to no improvement. I was also referred to several other specialist which included rheumatology and neurology. As the entire hand noticeably started to lose more functionality and range of motion than when I initially started at Cedars-Sinai and the pain was minimally controlled, my orthopedic Physician felt that surgery to cut the tendons may be the next step after almost 2 years of dealing with this.
What was fortunate for me was that he wanted pain management to provide input prior to proceeding with surgery.
My pain management Physician did not agree at that point that surgery was the next step and instead referred me to From The Heart (FTH) Physical Therapy where the physical therapy technique employed uses a whole body approach to recovery. When I started at FTH my hand was in such terrible condition that I wasn’t certain that there was much hope to recover the injured hand. Sepi is the individual I see for Myofascial release PT and she uses a wholistic approach. At the end of each session with her I’ve had meaningful results that even my pain management Physician commented on during my follow up visit. I am almost certain that if I had gone to FTH initially rather than traditional occupational therapy without myofascial release that my hand would have fully recovered. I highly recommend this place as a first line solution if anyone is in need of OT or PT. Sepi and her team will tailor the treatment to every individuals specific needs. I’d like to thank them for all their hard work and research to provide alternate and non-traditional solutions to healing.

I have tried every conceivable form of PT and body work. Many have helped but none - NONE - have given me the freedom from pain that From The Heart does. And more than that, they continue to teach me ways I can help myself. They've changed my life for the better and continue to do so. I'd give up dying my hair in order to keep going to Sepi and Kevin.
