Los Angeles Port Police

I wish the courtroom across the street was back up and running. :( I love this department though.

High caliber bunch of folks, professional, highly trained and helpful when asked a question. Obviously the negative ‘remarks’ below are a direct reflection of the ‘type’ of citizens they are sometimes stuck having to deal with amongst the usually great folks of the community of San Pedro.

I love the LA Port Police!!! I had a bad thing happen to me today. I am a business owner in Downtown San Pedro. I own a hair salon. A walk in, who happened to be a crew member from the Oceania Marina cruse ship. stole product from me. I called the San Pedro Police. They were very kind. They helped me as much as they could with the information that I had. They filed a report and gave me a copy. I took that report and went to the port of call. I really didn’t know what recourse I had but I had to do something. I was greeted by the First officer. Officer Brandon, he led me in the right direction. Then came office Hernandez and Officer Cueva. Oh and I can’t forget Cesar the ship Executive from SMS!! That is another review. They helped me so much very kind and stood with me as I fought for what was right. My money was returned. Thank you Officers. You made a very bad situation very pleasant. Thank you for standing with me as I fought for what was right!!! I will never forget any of you!!!!

The type of Law Enforcement near this area is top notch.

Very professional station and they pick up within a minute, I was very impressed with the promptness and professionalism. The are rather quick over the phone, "meaning they do cut you off and ask questions very prompt" get to the point really fast...just part of the job.
