We had a guide who clearly loved and was passionate about all of the animals. They were all rescued in one way or another and the up close encounters are as good as they advertise. My favorite was jaws the American alligator!

This care center is a wonderful way to see sea lions and seals up close. The volunteers who work there are highly knowledgeable about the animals, and there are information signs scattered around that are also helpful. Birthing for these animals happens in the Spring, so that is when they have the most patients, since the pups can get into health trouble is they can't find food, or are attacked. This center exists with donations, so be sure to leave something to help them continue!

Baby dolphin rescue experience of a lifetime. We named the dolphin after the first Good Samaritan name Effrin trying to help relocate baby dolphin in a quiet and calm water. Effrin was so emotionally overwhelmed in the end when dolphin was transported to the rescue van, he welled up in tears. So, it’s befitting we name the dolphin “baby Effrin Helly Hansen” because, I used my Helly Hansen jacket as a sling when I joined into the water to help Effrin. We hope Baby Effrin will have a successful ending in its road to a quick recovery and ultimately released back into the ocean.
