Having purchased jewelry, taken jewelry for repair (including new and vintage/antique and very valuable watches ), and gotten jewelry appraised at Riverton, I can recommend without question. The prices are fair (more reasonable than bigger glitzier jewelers), the service great, and the owner reliable and honest. A gem (pun intended) of a small jewelry store.

While the selection may nit be as great, Riverton also can look for items through its distributors and also estate and other sources. They give truly personal and patient attention and service (work with owner Frank), Chuck owned and ran the business for years, then after he passed (he will be missed), Frank - who had been behind the scenes doing much of the work, took over. Not only does he carry on the tradition, he does as well or better.
I for decades relied on one or two Beverly Hills jewelers - and yes, large selection, good work, great purchases. I had used Riverton only for basic repairs. But over time I gave Riverton the chance to do more repairs on my “better” pieces, then their appraisals - and then I paid attention to the jewelry in the cases and found many to my liking. Bottom line: just about everything I wanted or needed was right here five minutes away at better prices with even better service.
