  I've been going to Universal Family Wellness Clinic for a few years and seeing Michael for the last couple. The acupuncture is catered to my needs for that week or day whether it's immune function, back pain, IT band tightness, stress, or otherwise. They introduced me to cupping and it has helped a lot with my back. My appointment always gives me the relief and support that I need to strengthen my body and mind for the subsequent days/weeks. I think of my appointment like a tune-up for my body, similar to the tune-up or oil change you get for your car. If I have symptoms of a cold or other issues like with my stomach or bladder, they/Michael has herbs that help support healing. Anyone interested in acupuncture or a more Eastern medicinal approach to healing and well-being would be lucky to be able to go to Universal Family Wellness Clinic. I hope to keep them in my life forever.

  The best acupuncture and holistic medicine experience I have ever had. So professional, kind and experienced. They are amazing and have helped me and so many friends with a myriad of issues (migraines, sore muscles, infertility, joint problems, etc.) Highly recommended!

  Wow, I am AMAZED by Chinese medicine!! I began trying it out last year after the typical solutions to recurring head colds, sinus infections, etc didn't work...but Asian medicine works immediately. I am not kidding. I went to Universal with a lung infection coming on (phlegm, coughing, etc) and they set me up with some medicine that had the infection in retreat within a couple of hours. I am literally blown away by how well Chinese medicine seems to work. It figures, since they've been honing the skill for thousands of years!
  
  Stay off antibiotics and call Universal when you have a problem!

  I've seen many an Accupuncturist/herbalist in my time, all highly reputable and above standard, and I have to say hands down, Michael Niss is the best of all of them. His expertise are expansive, thorough and up to date and his treatments all impacted me with lasting effect that impressed me for days following each session. The way his clinic is run with the priority really on the patients and not trying to sell you all kinds of stuff you don't need, also impressed me quite a bit. The sliding scale charge for treatments is also a generous testament to the values this family practice is clearly founded in. He also helped me use herbs I already had until I ran out when I bought more from him at extremely reasonable prices. Highly recommended!!

  I am so Glad i came across this place for my acupuncture treatments. I look forward to coming here all the time and having these wonderful , amazing ,down-to-earth cool Doctors help me with my terrible migraines and tension headaches .I was also experiencing hot flashes and body aches but now after several treatments and taking herbal teapills i feel Great!! Haven't had any of those problems as of yet!!!
  Also love the cupping done for my sore muscles.
