Location is killer, rooms were nice and pretty clean but the hotel had all kinds of different smells going on… like they were trying to cover something up. Only real con except for smells was the high pitch that came from the refrigerator… I had to unplug it because it was so annoying at night. Is the perfect hotel to stay at when going to universal studios. Also, presidential suite looked pretty awesome too.
A group of friends stayed so we could attend Halloween Horror Nights. The Hotel is in a very convenient location; across the under over pass next to Universal Studios. As long as you don't mind walking in a neighborhood that is a bit so so safety wise and then walk uphill to the park, I believe it is well worth the price. The hotel is built over a small parking garage which made us feel more secure about the safety of our cars. The room itself was very clean and kept cool through the night. It came with a small patio that through the slats you could see the garage so we actually parked under our patio. the location of the hotel is near a 24 hour subway and a burger joint so we were able to not spend more money at universal. Overall a good budget friendly location to go to Universal Studios.
On our recent trip to California to attend a concert at the Hollywood Bowl, we were searching for budget-friendly accommodations with parking. We discovered the BLVD Hotel & Spa and decided to book a room for one night. Upon arrival, we parked our car in their lot and proceeded to check in to our room.
Our hotel room was located on the second floor. One of the things I appreciated about the hotel was the motivational quotes displayed on the walls. The room itself was tidy, peaceful, and equipped with all the essentials one might need for a comfortable stay.
The hotel pool and gym have limited hours, but the gym has all the necessary equipment for a workout. If you're in need of a quick breakfast, the lobby offers coffee, tea, and packaged breakfast options at reasonable prices.
One of the best things about this hotel is its prime location, just a short walk from Universal Studios. Additionally, the shower head provides multiple options and allows guests to adjust water pressure to their preference. Furthermore, the cost for overnight parking at the hotel is only $30, which is significantly cheaper than nearby parking options and garages.
Overall, the hotel was a great fit for our needs.
