The Penmar

Well we here for the Friday outdoor Concert series that they do during summer, loads of fun millennials and yet we felt very welcome and everybody was so friendly to our group, a collection of moms in our 40s and 50s :) great that the music was not loud and allowed for everyone picnicking to converse.

Very calm atmosphere. It’s one of the few places you can enjoy being open air, with good food, a very relaxed environment, at outstanding value for the price, with friendly and fast service, and accessible to almost everyone. It’s a place to hang out and give yourself a deserved break. I really enjoyed the grapefruit juice and the bagel.

The food is amazing. Wednesday is pizza night and I highly recommend it! It did not cost anything to get in on nights when there is no music or sunset summer festival. The service was a little slow, but it's a very laid back atmosphere and all food and beverages we're eventually brought to the table. It's dog friendly!

Crazy to think a few years ago there was a bunch of homeless RVs parked on Rose. They've done an amazing job with the place, and the live music and just overall atmosphere is something I never thought coming.
