Dr. Ament was referred to me by my personal doctor. Ive had lower back problems for most of my adult life. As with many things, its gotten worse with age. Ive had two back surgery's and numerous epidural over the years but nothing seemed to help. Dr. Ament took a look at my most resent MRI and knew right away what I needed to have done. He took the time to explain just what I needed to do and what the rehab would consist of. I had the operation about four months ago and I feel better now than I have in the past 20 years. Dr. Ament truly cares about his patients. I could tell that the first time I walked out of his office. Hes not only an exceptional doctor, hes a really nice guy. I only wish I met him years ago. All the girls in his office are extremely helpful and very nice as well.

I suffered for 5 painful years from a degenerated L5 disk that made my life miserable, and i was referred to him by the last doctor i visited( visited 4 neurosurgeons) which emphasized that not even Dr Ament is the person who would be able to help me, but he is a just and a true human being that wants to help his patients, i can not describe how fortunate i am , he was the only one that came with the right solution that ended my suffering. I can say with peace of mind that every single person in his team either his office staff or surgery team are unique.

I dealt with Cervical issues (bilateral arm/hand pain, numbness and tingling) and had seen several physicians and a surgeon.
Was offered physical therapy, Epidural injections and/or surger (a fusion with hardware), with 50/50 odds of possibly being a quadriplegic.
Thankfully, was given referral to Dr. Ament by two different individuals who didn't know each other. Reached out, set an appointment (during the height of Covid), and knew I was with the right surgeon/physician in that first visit. He understood my fears, put me at ease, and explained how a Cervical Disc Replacement Surgery could relieve all my issues.
I went home, spoke with my husband, and advised I scheduled surgery. My husband didn't like the idea of me undergoing surgery during the pandemic, nor did our PTP. I pushed the surgery back a couple months; yet, continued to receive weekly telephone calls from Dr. Ament, who called to check on me. OMG, a physician who cares!!! I hit the Jackpot
Had the Cervical Disc Replacement Surgery (outpatient surgery by the way) performed earlier this year, and I couldn't be happier with the results. All issues with left arm/hand resolved immediately after surgery, and most issues with right hand/arm resolved, and it hasn't even been 4 months.
