08/26/22 Fri..I am notably terrified of Dentist's, period...
Several months ago, was in desperate need of Dentistry, as developed a Gum Infection, almost , overnight . Reached out (over the phone), to my Then, current Dentist, a Dr. 'A', for a possible Antibiotic of Whom I'd had an established (few years Relationship with)..I'm a
Handicapped Sr. Couldn't See Her, readily, at the time, of which She was insistent, And, reached out, in desperation to a close Friend of Whom referred me to Dr. K., of Whom , She, at One point, had had met, on a prior Dealing, some Years, earlier, His Wife, Only.
Bottom Line, Reached out to This Dentist, as was Soo Desperate, and, without Knowing Me, ( Friday Night, Took Me in as an Apptment, the Following morning as an Emergency Patient. I've Been with Him, ever Since..
Great Doctor...and, to quote an Old Saying, "I'd rather FIGHT , Than Switch" (moving fwd., God Bless This Man, with His Golden Heart and Expertise!! My experience at Dr. Tomimatsu's office has always been excellent. His staff is highly professional and courteous, and Dr. Tomimatsu himself is a great dentist. He performed all of the treatments I received--from examinations to filled cavities to crowns--quickly and efficiently and obviously with great skill. If you have a dental emergency he is always willing to stay late or to make a special trip to the office to address your need. He is a true family dentist, and treats my elderly parents, my brother and my aunt, and none of us would dream of seeing another dentist. I can't recommend him highly enough.
I finally got around to reading the HomeTown News “Best Of” August issue, and found that my favorite dentist took the “Best Of” honers. Congratulations Dr. Kaz Tomimatsu! I have been a patient for the past 20 years, and my dental issues are a complicated, almost legendary, challenge. Dr. Tomimatsu’s expertise and calm manner has helped me through some serious dental situations. Due to time constraints with work, and frequent serious dental issues, I needed to find a new dentist close to home. I was fortunate to discover a compassionate and thorough local dentist in Dr. Tomimatsu ( and more reasonable prices). Dr. Tomimatsu has referred me to three specialists for different complications over the years, and all speak highly of Dr. Tomimatsu and his skills as a dentist. I have no hesitation recommending Dr. Tomimatsu for those looking for a reliable, affordable, and professional dentist. He was my favorite even before the communities of Westchester, Playa del Rey, Playa Vista, and Marina del Rey voted him the best in HomeTown News.
I have been to a lot of dentists in my time and Dr. Tomimatsu and his staff are second to none. Without warning, one weekend I had a tooth become infected. I called Dr. Tomimatsu's office, and he personally called me back, drove down to his office at MIDNIGHT, looked at my tooth and gave me a shot of Novacaine to get me through the night. He then gave me a referral and his staff called ahead to talk to the referred Doctor on my behalf. I hope Dr. Tomimatsu never retires.
Dr. Tomimatsu is fantastic! He doesn't try to swindle me by offering me expensive services that I don't need. He is a true professional, and makes a great effort to keep patients happy. I am also impressed with how new and up-to-date his equipment is. His staff are very friendly.
