I came to The Healing Cottage after my fiancé broke off our engagement. I was struggling with depression, heartache and the grief of losing a loved one. I had never received any therapy before coming to the first session, and did not know what to expect. Jacqueline quickly helped me feel comfortable to be able to share and work on the most difficult season of my life. I saw Jacqueline every Friday for 6 months. In our time together, she shared coping skills and meditation to bring me comfort that I still use today. She gave me assignments and week by week we worked towards healing. We tracked my progress and I know I am a different person after coming to the Healing Cottage. I am so grateful for Jacqueline, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist. She is incredible and honestly was one of the biggest reasons I was able to feel better and like myself again.
