I took my 1 year old for the first time and he had a blast and so did my wife and I. The only thing that suck is that it closes at 5. If you go, it's a good idea to get there early so you can catch the shows cause it seems on what I looked at they only do the show once at that specific time
Very nice way to spend evening. Super nice for young children. If you are within an hour's drive it's worth it. I did not give 5 stars only because I did not think it was as good as old Griffith Park lights they had years ago but I realize that may not be fair. On Friday's either get there super early or after 7.
Great for the whole family. I took my kids there frequently when they were young and now that they are in high school we just went and also had a great day together. It’s just the right size-you can see it all in a day. And parking is free!! Even though the parking lot was full the zoo itself never felt crowded. They allow you to bring your own food even big coolers and have a lot of picnic tables at entrance. We bring our own lunch and then always get a treat-they have yummy treats.
I mean, it's a zoo. Always gonna get 5 stars from me. There isn't anything special about this zoo to separate it from other zoos, but it is really fun and they have some great opportunities to interact with the animals throughout the day. You should definitely go in the morning. Parking is free. Bird show is phenomenal.
We went to see the Holiday lights. It was a nice, fun and enjoyable night. We took our two young daughters,9 and 11 who enjoyed the entire park lights. The lines to enter are really long but it moves fairly quickly. The water light show was the best. You do not see any animals except for lizards and snakes. We will definitely go back every year.
