Malibu Paragliding Paramotor school

  First, I would like to say that I was skeptical of the bad reviews Malibu paragliding has here, especially because it costs a decent chunk of money, but I decided to try it out. Claude seems to get a bad reputation, but I don’t agree with it at all. He is a very straightforward person, but also very friendly. It was a very good wind day and I still paid the exact price on the website for paragliding (and scheduled a flight 2 hours before the flight actually took place). The negative reviews don’t all seem to be Claude’s fault, you really do need to read everything on the website, and understand that weather/wind is a big factor of all these flights. The only thing I didn’t understand fully was that if you want to save the $20 for paragliding you need to drive you and Claude up to the launch area (have to have someone to drive your car back down, I had my family with me so it worked out well regardless).
  
  I found Malibu Paragliding at 10am today while searching for something exciting to do in LA. I called the number on the website and Claude answered on the second try, and I was able to schedule a paragliding flight 2 hours later at 12pm (extremely short notice so I was pleasantly surprised). I’m sure it doesn’t always work out like this, especially because of wind conditions, but my flight was really amazing. I also got to film the entire flight with my iPhone easily (I had a strap for safety but not totally necessary).
  
  The wind was good today so we were able to go to the highest peak of the mountain, and it was breathtaking. Claude was very professional and made me feel very safe at all times especially on the take off which seemed daunting. The flight lasted the full 30mins and it felt long which was great. Clear skies today so I could see absolutely everything in Malibu in the mountains and along the coast (pretty comfortable ride too). I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the money, but it 100% was and I would do it again. Heights might be scary for some but I loved it.
  
  Overall, it was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done in my life. Claude was a great pilot as well and an interesting guy (I usually don’t take time to write reviews after stuff but Claude was awesome). I thought it was cool that Claude worked in Quebec as an electrical/mechanical engineer prior to starting his paragliding business.
  
  I would highly reccomend to anyone who likes a thrill and amazing views!

  Claude is awesome! One of the best experiences of my life... I highly recommend this adventure he's one of the most experienced tandem pilots ...You will not regret this for yourself or an out of town guest
