    I’ve known Kayla for quite some time, she is a good friend from college. My friends had a wedding I needed to lose a few pounds for so I hired her to trim up. I was able to lose the weight I needed in 4 weeks with Kayla. We trained 3 times a week and she gave me a great meal plan to follow! If you’re getting ready for an event and need a serious trainer who will get the job done, hire her.

    I am typically based in New York but I travel a lot for work. Every time I'm in Los Angeles I make sure to schedule a training session in person with Kayla. She's helped me tone up problem areas as well as provided me different fitness routines for when I'm traveling or just at home. We also regularly check in to see my progress when I'm not in LA.

    When I first started with Kayla I told her which areas of my body I wanted to focus on—I don't need much help with legs, but I've been trying to get my abs to regain tone as well as gain strength in my arms. She designed a fitness routine that has helped keep me in shape over all while focusing on those areas. We worked through how to use different machines and she corrected my form for not just machines, but also my free weights and strength lifts. I have a couple old injuries that I've needed physical therapy and surgery on and she always makes sure to check in about how they feel before proceeding with a work out and will make adjustments as necessary. I love how considerate she is and her attention to detail!

    In addition to just personal training, Kayla has been helping me significantly with nutrition. I have always been a healthy eater and subscribe to the "if it fits your macros" diet lifestyle a good amount of the time. But, I was having a lot of issues with energy and was always exhausted no matter what. Kayla asked me questions about what I eat and then explained to me that I was cutting out almost all natural sugar which was affecting my energy levels. She then offered suggestions for me to follow and provided me with a diet plan. I never would have thought to look at the amount of sugar I wasn't taking in. The amount of help she's given me has been amazing, I've gone down about 2% body fat and my energy levels have gotten higher since starting to train with her!

    On top of all that, Kayla is an amazing listener and super personable. She always sets me at ease in the gym since I'm rather self-conscious when I work out. We can chat about almost any topic and I always looked forward to our training session. She holds me accountable to our training programs and I can't recommend her enough!!

    I rarely write reviews, but I felt the need to for Kayla since she has helped me in getting me to where I want to be with my weight. She designed a fitness routine for me and even helped me out with nutrition. I told her which part of my body parts I want to tone and which I want to avoid (my calves tend to bulk up easily). Kayla came up with a plan for me and taught me how to properly use the machines (I realized I've been using them wrong all this time). Kayla also pretty much taught me nutrition and what foods to eat more. She designed a meal plan for me! Also on a personal level, Kayla has been a great listener. We would have "girl talk" and for someone who doesn't LOVE working out, I always looked forward to our training. I can't recommend Kayla enough. SHES GREAT!!!!!!!

    Kayla is great! She is knowledgeable about nutrition and what the best work out is for your body type and what you are trying to work on. She is encouraging and keeps you on track with what you want to accomplish

    Had a bar mitzvah that I needed to impress at in the Marina. Within a month and a half of Lyons personal training, I had shed 20 pounds, increased my endurance, and was on the fast track to making my six pack. Kayla Lyons helped give me the confidence I needed for my big day of turning from a boy to a man. A lot can be accomplished in a half hour session and unimaginably more in 2 months
