    There are Challenging but Dangrrous Single tracks off the edge of the small mountains. Busy with hikers on this Saturday. Ride with extreme caution if U dare.

    Off the Calgrove exit on the 5 freeway, Towsley Canyon Park is easy to find. There are plenty of free parking and paid parking. The trail is pretty straight forward and there's now way you can get lost. It is a little over 5 miles. Going clockwise will take you through a steady incline. It might not look like much but you will feel a burn. Going counter clockwise will take you uphill through several switchbacks. Overall, its a pretty easy hike and can be done under an hour and a half to two hours.

    Awesome place for hiking and getting a nice view of the city. Pretty dry this time of year, but still nice. The trails were very clear and easy to follow. Trail difficulties varied. Our only issue was some tar we saw, and we ended up sliding in it passing through the trail. Just watch for muddy spots because it may be sticky tar.

    Excellent hiking area... suitable for all experience levels. Easy to locate trailhead.

    Beautiful 7-mile hike. The first mile is almost level, and leads to The Narrows, a short canyon. Most of the year there is a stream, but that usually dries up during summer. The next four miles switchbacks up and up. Along the way you pass two tar pits, where shiny, black viscous tar seeps out of the ground, and creeps down the slope. Almost five miles out, you reach the highest point of the hike, with a stunning view over the surroundings, and the I-5 freeway laying there as a long ribbon. The rest of the hike is a fairly easy downhill walk, ending in a level part with plenty of shade.
