Popular place to take the kids sledding when there's snow. A word of warning - the roads are often very icy in the winter, particularly in shadowed areas, so drive carefully, during good weather only, and have your adventure pass for parking.
PCT passes thru here. Both north bound and south bound. About 2 miles before each intersects with Angeles Crest Highway (CA-2).
