  My son is now entering 3rd grade in Manhattan Beach, and excelling. The skills he learned at Rolling Hills Montessori put him far ahead of the curriculum that the public school was using, and allowed him to focus on socializing. I think that the foundation that Rolling Hills Montessori gave him has made his K, 1st, and 2nd experience wonderful and enriching, rather than a catch up in academics that I see some other students going through. I still give Rolling Hills Montessori 5 stars.

  My son has been at this school for two months, and my experience with the teachers and the school has been great. Everyone is very friendly, well spoken, and care about all the children. The location is beautiful with a very large grass field with plenty of shade. This is a school not a day care with some education, and it really feels like there is a clear trajectory for the academics.
  
  If you are on the search for the right preschool, this one really should be on the list for a serious visit.

  We have now been at Rolling Hills Montessori for 2 1/2 years. I really think that it is an excellent school. The setting is a large slightly sloping grass area, with lots of play equipment, and is very picturesque. The director has filled the rooms with the best Montessori materials that I have seen. There is a deli called Kelly's Korner around the block that will deliver lunch to your child at the school, this has helped a number of times.
  
  The only things that have been a little difficult is that they follow the local elementary school schedule, including minimum days. For a two working parent household, the scheduling can be tricky. On the other hand their child care rates a very reasonable (child care is not available on minimum days or the breaks).
