Mexicali Taco & Co.

Came here a couple of times and all our experiences were good! So far, we have tried Carne asada fries (so good), Mexicali tacos (chicken, al pastor, and shrimp tacos), dorados (chicken and potatoes. Good stuff), burrito and cachetada w/ al pastor ranchero style (with an egg) and their Vampiro lunch combo. This place really exceeded my expectations!

Here are my top choices:
1. Cachetada with al pastor, ranchero style. Ranchero = egg. (So delicious)
2. Carne asada fries (the steak was bomb)
3. Potato dorado (better when it's still hot. Don't forget to dip in the sauce. So good)
4. Vampiro lunch combo (It's like a quesadilla w/ cheese, so tasty)

All in all, tasty place. I especially love their asada and al pastor. They also have pretty good combos for lunch specials (available from 11am-2pm, Mon. to Fri.) Enjoy!

If you want some delicious fish tacos this is the spot. Come on Tuesday for buy 1 get 1 free and trust me 2 is all you need these tacos are huge, might as well call them burritos lol...

Was looking for tacos in San gabriel and found Mexicali! Wow the food is fresh, horchata soo good—and I appreciate the canto cha siu meat as an option! Never had that in a taco and it’s delicious. The nachos are well supplied and has that guilty pleasure queso too. The fish tacos are big portions and again fresh. That’s the word of the day with Mexicali. Happy to support this small bipoc biz!!

Been wanting to try this place since before it opened and I finally got a chance last night. Wife and I thought it was all delicious. Ordered Vampiro, Cachetada, and Nachos 2.0. All were so good that I'm going back again today for dinner to try some other things.
