I’ve been taking lessons with Brenn Auld for the past few months, and I have nothing but good things to say about his teaching style. He gives specific, actionable feedback, all while maintaining a very encouraging attitude. On the logistics/administrative side, Dial has been a pleasure to work with, always responding promptly to any questions I have.
Overall, I’ve been really happy with my experience, and would recommend Dial Jones Tennis Academy to anyone looking to take lessons!
Dial Tennis Academy coaches are real pros who have been in the Tour. The team will teach you non only the basic shot but more importantly how to hit effortless those shots with pace and top spin with confidence. You'll learn timing and efficiency. Go Dial Jones Tennis!
I found Dial Jones on Google, so writing a review in case you are also here searching for tennis lessons! Dial was super easy to work with, and he set me up with one of his instructors, Brenn, who is terrific. Brenn is thoughtful, encouraging, and never made me feel bad about being a true beginner. Plus, our lessons were at the courts in Santa Monica near the ocean. A great experience, highly recommend.
Dial Jones is the consummate tennis professional and instructor. He is patient, positive, and highly skilled, not only at instructing on technique but in explaining objectives and clearly leading a student to the best result. He has a great eye for adjustments that can be made to swings and body position and always maintains an upbeat attitude that makes the lessons fun yet focused. Unqualified recommendation for this terrific instructor.
I split my time between Venice CA and New York City, and every time I come back to CA the first thing I do is arrange for some tennis lessons with Dial or Hunter. I have worked with Dial and Hunter, and each brings something special to the court. Hunter is one of the best tennis pros I have ever met, and I've met a lot of them. His love of the game is inspiring and he is not only a great teacher but he also gives you a great work-out on the court! Dial is a phenomenal instructor. I had stopped playing tennis for almost 30 years, and I went to Dial to see if I could take it up again. Not only did he bring my game back, it's better now than it was when I was in my 20's and playing every day. The live ball clinics are also fantastic and give great value for the money. You get to hit a lot of balls, learn what you're doing wrong, and concentrate on strategy while playing points and games. And best of all, it's a lot of fun. I can't recommend this program highly enough.
