We worked with Susan for our prenatal and childbirth education and are very glad we did! Susan is sweet, knowledgeable, and asks all the right questions. She made us feel extremely prepared for any scenario and or situation and helped us understand what our ideal birth would look like. She also helped us understand the entire process of natural birth, as well as prepared us with coping techniques that were very helpful during delivery. Susan was a loving and grounding presence through our beautiful birth experience, prenatally through postpartum. In the months leading up to our daughters’ birth, our prenatal visits with Susan were invaluable. Each visit not only contained a mother lode of information to prepare us for labor, delivery and postpartum, but also gently uncovered fears, lovingly exposed assumptions and encouraged intimacy through important conversation between my partner and I not only during our prenatal sessions but in the weeks that followed.

It was our desire to have a mindful and devotional birth experience, and Susan understood that, supporting our vision from our prenatal visits through labor and delivery. When we arrived to the hospital Susan helped to set our altar and to encourage a peaceful energy in our delivery suite, reminded me of my intentions, prayers and my strength through labor, and held space for us in our sacred first moments with our sweet girl.

I especially loved the support and care Susan provided in our postpartum follow-up visit; the adrenaline of childbirth was beginning to wear off and my breasts were painful and engorged, I didn’t know what to do to relieve the pain naturally and safely. Susan arrived with special teas, herbs, soup, and the most heavenly grounding and healing massage. This visit helped me to heal and feel more present for my baby, to feel nourished in my body and to feel equipped with knowledge and tools to support a successful adventure in breastfeeding.

Birthing my daughter was the most beautiful and powerful experience of my life, when I think back to my pregnancy, labor and postpartum I am filled with joy, with gratitude and so much love, truly an amazing experience! And I know that having Susan by our side empowered us to create these beautiful memories 🙏🏼 thank you thank you thank you sweet Susan!!!

Susan is wonderful!!! She provided us with such caring and calming support throughout the entire birthing journey (prep, birthing support, and post). As a (male) birth partner, it was very helpful to have her supporting us, not only by preparing me and my love for the journey of our lifetime, but most importantly by providing my wife (and I) with the feminine support and presence we needed to feel during the birth. She held us together in a very safe and sacred container. Susan was very generous with her time and energy throughout, and she provided us with all of the information/research/insight that we would need, in context to our specific birth plan, so that we were informed and prepared to make every decision we needed to. She navigated the hospital staff and flow of information like the true professional she is, to the point where one nurse asked if my wife had any allergies, and Susan quickly answered her (accurately) before I could even make sense of the question!
The birth of our baby girl was the most sacred and spiritual experience of our life, and we are so so blessed that Susan was a part of it. Forever grateful for Susan❤️

Working with Susan (and our other wonderful doula in tandem) was a complete joy. She offers a perfect mix of expertise and intuition for mother, baby, and partner.

We enjoyed many of her postpartum healing offerings - the most helpful of which were the belly binding and the massage. (Seriously. Do the belly binding!)

The warm oil baby massage was also so calming to our (very fussy) newborn and provided much comfort for her.

I also have to say that starting the breastfeeding journey with Susan present was so helpful to me personally because I had a very hard time, and her presence, patience, and empathy all went a long way in making me feel that I wasn’t failing.

Her kind, gentle energy and abundance of knowledge helped give my husband and me the confidence and tools we needed for our prenatal, birth and postnatal journey.
