Pathways Speech and Language

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Pathways. Our son started speech there when he was 21 months old and is now 3. He’s made tremendous improvements and gained confidence. I can’t stress enough how amazing the therapists are! They’re so knowledgeable, encouraging, patient, and kind. He loves going each day. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. We truly feel like they’re family. We leave feeling supported and equipped with the tools and knowledge to better help our child. Andrea in the office was very instrumental in helping us get the insurance side of things worked out. This year we discussed switching insurance plans, but in the end we stayed with our current plan based solely on the fact that we could keep going to Pathways. Out of our entire family’s health, keeping our son’s speech therapist was our number one priority. We love Stephanie and everyone else that our son has got to work with. Gayle is amazing too. She has been supportive from day 1. They really are the best at what they do! We would never want to go anywhere else. They help our child with what he needs and they love him, making speech fun for him.

Everyone is amazing and welcoming. Feels warm and comfortable (my son bursts into tears when we have to go to UCLA; it’s cold and clinical. Pathways is the exact opposite).

We lucked out and got to go here because the places our HMO wanted to first send us were full. First and foremost, the speech therapists are great. Less important but still nice, the office itself is cozy like going to someone's house. Andrea, the office manager, is great with getting insurance what they need, getting receipts, etc. It's on Ocean Park, in a nice part of town to stroll around and shop, grab a coffee, etc. while waiting.
