2 man crew. Albert is the owner and has one employee under him. Honest mechanics, but expect a wait since he gets lots of business due to loyal customers. Also does smog checks as well.

Been recommended to Albert by a family friend who is a retired mechanic, Albert has fixed my mother in law’s vehicle, my own and my mom’s car. My mother in law’s car had several issues, one of the issues, he referred her back to the dealership since it was still under warranty, that was something we were unaware of, but also Albert could have easily charged us to fix that problem.

For my car, my check engine light came on, and about a year ago my family friend who is a retired mechanic advised me to purchase this device that I can connect to the car to diagnose a problem. I finally get to put it to use, and it read EGA flow or something, I called Albert and he told me to bring the car in, after check he said it would be $400 to fix. I left the car there and he called me the next day to tell me my car was ready and that the problem wasn’t the valve itself, and that it was the tube and cap or something like that (he explained everything in detail what he did, I just cant remember exactly what was done). He said the cost would be $250 instead.

From my experience, Albert is an honest man. He may not be the friendliest person in the world, but to me that doesn’t matter at all, I like how he just gets to the point without fake talking anything. I’m coming here for all my car stuff from now on.

Highly recommended. Affordable, quality work. I had a Ford Focus and have used NWA for every car repair and routine service since I moved to Los Angeles 7 years ago. Even living in silverlake Id drive all the way here for routine service and major repairs. Al fixed my clutch in half the time and for less than half the cost of what Firestone and others quoted me. Definitely recommend to anyone needing automotive work. It’s worth the extra drive or mileage on towing to get there if you’re not in south El Monte. 5 stars
