Shiloh Retreat

My family and I are so glad we found Shiloh Retreat in Whittier when it was time to find a better place for dad. He was at an Assisted Living Facility, but wasn't there long as we found the residential home was a lot better when it came to needing care. Management is always on top of everything with great communication, the Care Givers are great, Dad has always said he likes the meals, and the house is always clean, comfortable, and the most important...odor free! I sleep much better now, knowing Dad is safe and getting the best care in such a wonderful, caring environment. Thank You Everyone at Shiloh!

My mom lived with my husband and I for 10 years but is now on hospice care. We wanted to find a place for her that would feel as close to being home as possible. She has been at Shiloh Retreat for over 7 months and we are very happy with this choice. Jesse (owner) and Cynthia (manager) are amazing and sincerely care about every resident. The only issue we had was that the TV was too complicated but they hooked up regular cable in her room and that is no longer a problem. Since she spends a lot of time in bed that was important. This home is kept very clean at all times and has up-to-date décor. The caretakers cook the meals so it gives the residence a feeling of being home. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

My mom has settled in nicely with the help of good care from Jess and Cynthia! So much better than other options we viewed where there was only one care giver for over a dozen residents! I wasn't able to keep up with my mom's needs and life has improved for both of us.

This facility is a perfect fit for keeping mom or dad in a place that feels like home.
