Visitor center next to Drakes Beach. It's serving as temporary point Reyes visitor center too for nps passport stamping. This year elephant. Seals have made colonies on Drakes Beach. So can see elephant seal families from visitor center. Has exhibits from old European trades and Ships.

Great place to learn about nature and the areas history in regard to European explorers/settlers. Coffee shop with light snacks and gifts nearby. Elephant seals slumbering on the beach and in the parking lot is a humbling experience.

Picturesque views, but I didnt expect to drive through multiple herds of cows and large number seals sunning themselves on the beach.

Went during the rain. And government shutdown, only thing open was a little coffee shop bookstore. The guy inside was super nice and helpful, bought a few things. They have cool books about the area and trinkets. Suprisingly we were not the only ones to visit.

Parking up close to the beach, flush toilets, an outdoor shower to rinse off sandy feet, a little cafe/souvenir shop, and a visitor center, what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, and the beach is nice too: lots of shorebirds, porpoises, seals (at least in August-October there were). The scenery looks different Everytime I come here. It's a little slice of heaven ❤️
