A little dated facilities. Lots of trails
Hike, swim with seals, take a kayak across the bay to go camping, enjoy sunset at the beach or over oysters at one of the oyster farms. So much to do here and teeming with life.
Take two days at least to enjoy the nature fully.
A remote and off the beaten path State Park, with nice hiking trails, beach access and many picnic areas. A much bigger park than you might think. It can get windy, and because it is so close to the ocean, it can have overcast skys and be pretty cool on most days. My family had been going there for around 50 years, and many good times were had.
Very nice beach. Very safe for children. No hard waves as regular beaches.
Indian trail track was beautiful.
