Forget an expensive private tour - this ferry has great views of Alcatraz, The Golden Gate Bridge, and the whole of San Francisco from the bay. And Larkspur is a pretty nice little town at the end of it. Heads right to the Ferry Building!

(February 25, 2016, 12:55 am)If there's a more pleasant way to make the trip to San Francisco I'm completely unaware of it.
On a warm sunny day you never want to exit the boat, on a cold and rainy day, there's nothing better than sitting below deck, staring out the window and enjoying your beverage of choice.
Sections of the boat are cell phone free, you can bring a bike and in the summer there is no better view of the sunset.
The ferry is just wonderful on every level.
There's plenty of parking, but they do now charge during the weekdays.
JUST GO!
