Pretty cool piece of history. You can tour the silo area and see a missile raised and lowered. On the day I went there, they had actual veterans who worked the missiles giving the tours.
Interesting guid. Free museum. Very interesting excursion!
Super cool place to learn about history. They actually take the missal out of the bankers
Very cool historic site. The tour guides know their stuff and are easy to listen to. There was even one veteran there when we went who had manned the missile site when it was active. Not great for young kids because it's a lot of being talked at and not much action. Recommend kids of at least middle school age.
This is insanely underrated as a historical site and tour. It's amazingly well done by dedicated and knowledgeable people in one of the most picturesque locations. Take the time and do the tour it's really worth it. Enjoy the sights on the way in and the education once you're here.
