Brand new and really nice. Great AC and fitness center. Im staying here/recommending to whoever comes to town.
I couldn’t say nicer things about the staff here, they were all incredible, especially the front desk guys who’s name I have forgotten! After being in stranded in the Dallas Airport for 7 hours and then calling around to 6 other hotels, they were the first with availability and were able to help me right away despite it being 2am.
Thank you all for being a bright spot in what was a travel day from hell!
Slept like I never slept before. King bed, brand new, scrumptious bedding, good AC made both Mr Bill and I ease off into dreamland. I love a dark room - the room darkening shade was the best! No gaps that allowed light in. Mr Bill got up once and thought I wasn’t in bed because if it’s size! (We really need to buy a king sized bed).
Breakfast on the weekend was very nice offering little egg white spinach quiches like you pay for at Starbucks. Hard boiled eggs, fruit, pancakes, hot and cold cereal, good coffee, muffins and assorted bagels and bread to toast. Very clean and tidy. Pleasant comfy appointments in the lobby. Historic info about the location and its meaning to Me Marriott. Extremely pleasant staff. There was a nice gym. I did not see the pool. There’s an outdoor patio grill area covered so it can shield from weather. East access from freeway. No cost parking. In room fridge, walk in shower, all new and perfect. The price was about $20 overpriced in my opinion. We rarely travel far enough to spend the night and will continue avoiding overnight accommodations even when as comfy as this place. The price is the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.
This is a new and very clean hotel. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The offered very good suggestions for places to eat in Denton. The room was comfortable, quiet and had good blackout window coverings. The beds are a little too firm but not that bad. The gap under the room door is pretty wide so bright light from the hallway shone in the room all night. That bothered me a little. The breakfast on the first day was sparse but adequate. There were some delicious mini spinach cheese quiches and waffles but not much else. Breakfast runs until 10 AM. On the second day, I went down at 9:40 and there were waffles, oatmeal, cereal and yogurt but no other hot options. I know 9:40 is late but if you promise breakfast until 10:00 AM there should be the full array. I would stay here again as it’s very convenient to Denton.
Probably one of the only times I left the doctor feeling like they really listened to what I was saying and not just trying to get through as many people in the day as they can. Really did a full, in-depth history of diet and exercise and health history. Great doctor. Would go back for sure.
Dr. Iwanicki was wonderful - laid back and funny and, most importantly, on top of his stuff. I don't particularly enjoy doctor visits, but he made me feel at ease and was great at answering questions and explaining everything. Also, the office itself is great - very bright and airy and calming.
Excellent experience dealing with Dr. Iwanicki. He was kind and attentive and I felt very secure in his care.
