  15 minutes from Golden Gate Bridge! If going to San Francisco stay here! Remodeled rooms, good breakfast and super nice staff who sent us complimentary wine!

  We always stay here when we're in the area. Love the grounds and the rooms. Having the restaurant and lounge next door is convenient also.

  Just want to acknowledge JUDY who really was a delightful person when I walked in the door. She was warm and friendly. She also was courteous and mindful of me and how she spoke to me and addressed my questions. I really feel the other front desk lady would be as nice but she was a bit pushy. I asked for a quiet room and generally prefer rooms away from construction but insisted I move away from drill and hammer sounds so I waited for a room but again way to cold room so I asked for a room I thought would be comfortable for a night sleep. It was a nicely updated room. Warm comfortable with sunlight beside the hill. Exactly what I expected. Lovely seats and nook by the TV great desk and eating area. The bathroom didn’t have towel rack so that threw me a bit. Lovely bathroom and tub with a massage shower head I thoroughly enjoyed. . Most importantly I did get my restful night sleep on the second floor. I was happy I didn’t have to sleep on the thirds floor end room which was drastically different and had a paint odor with little ventilation. I’m glad JUDY gave me the room I wanted. Lovely person.

  We have stayed at this hotel two or three times a year over the past decade on our visits to see family in Northern California because we have always been happy with the quality and value of the amenities here. This past week while touring, I fell and severely fractured my ankle. The staff at Novato Best Western not only had a handicap room for us on our return that evening, but also provided a wheelchair. They could not have been more gracious and understanding of the situation. In general, the service here is exceptional. The rooms are always clean and the free breakfast is better than many places that charge extra for it. I have stayed at other hotel chains around the US, but when we come for our family visits to California, I would not consider staying anyplace else.

  We had a wonderful stay. Large clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Great included Continental breakfast with a vast selection. Great coffee. Nice selection of kids toys/ games and a little library. Highly recommend this hotel!
