Alder Creek Adventure Center

Nice café to grab a bite after XC skiing or snowshoeing. Also has a good little shop for clothing and gear. Can rent or get your equipment serviced there as well.
In summer the ski rental turns into a bike rental and service shop and the trails open to the public.

Great place to stop while hiking or biking on the many trails around Tahoe-Donner. We enjoy a cold drink while enjoying the view from the patio.

Love the green and blue mountain bike trails. Haven't tried the more advanced sections yet though. Friendly staff at bike works.

We heard about it and decided to see what its all about. Its off season but still beautiful. The family and i got to adventure into the woods on some hiking/biking trails for some fresh air and also find a geocache along the way. Lots of fun on the back patio and the kids all got to pet a horse that was walking by. Will definitely be back here soon

Excellent place to rent mountain bikes with bike trail next to it. Person at the counter was very helpful; she fitted us with the proper size bike. The bikes were in very good condition; brakes were great and that is appreciated in the downhill parts of the trail. The location also offers wax services and equestrian services.
