Love the savory pies here (haven't tried the sweet), and the drip coffee is excellent. My favorite is the "hog pie" with pork, tomatillo, poblano chilis, it is exceptional. Friendly staff, clean, well designed fixtures, a couple tables out front. I come here once a month at least on my motorcycle with a buddy, it's a good destination midway thru the trip. Check it out if you like savory pie.
Wonderful food. I went for the first time and the staff were really helpful. Had turkey pot pie, mashed potatoes with gravely, and creamed corn. My wife and I split the meal which was plenty for both of us. Highly recommended!
Best slice of pie I’ve ever had! Had the honey bourbon pecan. Must come back to try the savory. Great customer service - Noel made my night! 😁
All we ordered tonight was a Green Hog Pie and this was absolutely delicious. The blend between shredded pork, tomatillo, and cheese was perfect. It was moist and savory. I want to come back and order this again and perhaps try a different flavor. They are known for their chicken pot pie, so if you prefer chicken that is probably the way to go. If you want to try something different, I recommend the green hog pie.
We tried 3 different sweet pie and the chicken pot pie. All 4 items were sooo delicious. The sweet pies tasted like a pie in Germany. Light, not too sweet, and real good ingredients. Finally we have found a store where we can a great tasting pie. Next time we will try the San Diego location because it's closer to home.
