(June 13, 2021, 2:09 pm)Some work colleagues and I ate here because it’s a nice halfway point between San Diego and Los Angeles. AVEO is one of the few dining options for non-resort guests. We made a reservation via Open Table and had no trouble with being seated. The service was great! My colleagues and I were generally happy with our food. The truffle fries were delicious! The dessert portion is rather small. It is a bit pricey for what’s offered, but we expected as much given the location. We enjoyed a lovely view of the resort grounds and the ocean beyond it from the patio. The complimentary valet parking was great. I was in a bit of a rush to return home, and they brought back my car quickly.
