Several different people helped me, from the front desk, to the techs, the doctor, and the staff doing the check-out, and ALL OF THEM were kind and helpful. I can't remember the last time where I was in a medical setting and everyone I came into contact with were so kind. My experience was exemplary, Dr. Kedhar and his team were knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. I never felt rushed and all of my questions were answered. I feel blessed to be able to have such great care. Thank you!

Great staff and amazing doctors. I trust the doctors here are truly looking after the well-being of their patients. My child’s vision was declining fast. I was desperate after two doctors recommended expensive and complex treatments. We went to UCI’s Gavin Herbert Eye Institute looking for a third and final opinion. The doctor at UCI explained to us she had lazy eye and she just needed to wear an eye patch for sometime (box of eye patches = $25). After a few months the improvement in her vision was amazing. She is now 👌. My neighbor had a similar experience. Her kid’s eye doctor recommended a treatment worth $$$ thousands that she had to pay upfront (they didn’t take insurance). I told her to come here to UCI for a second opinion. The doctor at UCI fixed my neighbor kid’s eye issue in a few months without any crazy, time consuming and expensive treatments.
Not only are the doctors amazing, the staff is kind, it’s easy to get appointments. They fixed my kid vision after almost classifying as legally blind and I’ll be forever grateful for that.

Rarely does one sees a doctor so dedicated to making her patients feel cared for. Dr. Kim took her time to thoroughly examine my eyes, explained my diagnosis in detail, and provided me with an array of options. She even went as far as searching online for alternative products for my condition. Dr. Kim is the ultimate professional, knowledgeable, kind, empathetic, and sweet. I feel privileged to be her patient. May she grace us with her expertise and charm for years to come.

I have been a patient of Dr. Farid's for five years now and I continue to be very thankful for her knowledge and gifts as a doctor.
It took me 2 years to find her! She is the only doctor that accurately diagnosed my eye condition and resolved it with a cornea replacement. Her ethical practice was deliberate and thorough. She accompanied me on my "eye journey" with patience and supported me at a gradual pace, something that I preferred. Her support was consistent even as we ended our journey together with cataract surgery in the same eye. My eye is thriving now and I don't need to return to see her for one year. I am so thankful for a "new", healthy eye. I am looking forward to seeing her once again.
