STS did our family move from Los Angeles to Colorado Springs a few weeks ago. I am incredibly grateful for Elizabeth and her team. Elizabeth was a dream come true from the moment we first spoke on the phone. I have never dealt with someone more professional and compassionate before Elizabeth. This was the first time I was leaving my home town and my emotions were on high alert. I was stressed, anxious, unsure, and questioning every little thing. Elizabeth figured this out very quickly and came to my side to support me and make everything seamless. This is the team you want to use for your move. I don’t have a single complaint about this moving process (and I’m typically a complainer). The team that loaded up my house in Los Angeles was wonderful and the team that did the unload in Colorado Springs was wonderful. Additionally, STS’s prices are SO REASONABLE!!!! This isn’t a shared truck type service. Your stuff is on one truck alone, and the drivers communicate with you throughout the whole trip to make sure you’re both on time. Nothing went missing, no furniture was damaged, everything was placed in the house perfectly upon move in.

I’ve read some negative reviews on here and I’m flabbergasted. My experience with STS was above and beyond satisfactory.

At the end of May, I had to move my 200 square foot storage unit goods next door to another unit to save money on the rent. I contacted them a couple of days before and Don (owner) sent 4 of his crew over, Joseph, Jack, Paul and Derick, and they were such a GREAT TEAM they moved everything in about ONE HOUR and stacked it the way I needed it stacked! Very, very professional and they worked together like a well oiled machine! It was an awesome experience and the price was amazingly worth every penny!

Adding to my husband's earlier review. I have been a collector for over 30 years with well over 100 various porcelain, crystal and resin collectibles, many of which are now retired and hard to replace. Some pieces are nearly 100 years old. I was nervous about moving them. I also have a harp. We interviewed several "national" moving chains before we found STS. Don was the ONLY one who asked for the manufacturer and model number of the harp. His office personally contacted the company and arranged for one of their harp moving crates to be sent down to L.A. All the other companies said they could put cardboard picture boxes over it, wrap it with bubble wrap or build a custom crate. None ever suggested contacting the manufacturer for the best way to move it. In addition, Don sized up the amount to be moved and knew exactly what size carrier would be needed. The truck that came was to carry only our goods, no one elses'. There would be no co-mingling of our things with another load on the truck, no potential mistakes in offloading to another address. He brought along a brand new, sealed lock and we locked the van after it was loaded and kept the only key. I was so nervous about the handling of my fragile collectibles. Not a single piece was damaged. Everything arrived just as it had left. I would not hesitate to recommend STS to anyone who is moving. You couldn't find a more professional, courteous, respectful team to help through one of life's more stressful experiences. Save the stress and go with STS.

STS Movers moved us from Los Angeles to Washington including over a hundred very fragile glass and porcelain collectibles and a harp that required a special crate. When Don came to our home to give us an estimate, he was the fifth moving company we had interviewed. Needless to say, the first four didn't inspire much confidence. Talking to Don was a completely different experience than any of the other companies. Don is down-to-earth, friendly and honest. He told us what he could do, and what he couldn't. He assured us that his professional crew would make everything happen the way we wanted it to happen. And his bid was less expensive than most of the other companies we spoke to. When our shipment arrived in Washington from California, not a single piece of fragile glass was broken. And the harp arrived in perfect shape. All our furniture arrived at our new house exactly as it left our old home. All the men in the crew were respectful, clean and professional.
