My mother had cataracts in both eyes. We were referred to Dr. Nika Omid by her primary care physician. She had trouble seeing distance and headlights bothered her at night. I am so glad we were referred to Dr. Omid! Dr. Omid recommended the laser surgery for the removal of cataracts, as opposed to the traditional scalpel surgery. She showed us a brief video on the traditional surgery vs. the laser surgery. After watching, no question, laser surgery was the best way to go. I appreciate her taking the time to explain things very clearly. Daniel, in the office of Dr. Omid is also awesome! He is helpful and answered all of our questions :) and we had lots! The Barranca Surgery Center made the procedure go very smoothly. We were in and out in about 2 hours, although never felt rushed. Dr. Omid and the entire staff were professional and caring. The sedation was mild. My mother was comfortable and never felt a thing. My moms vision in both eyes have improved considerably, only a few weeks after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Nika Omid's office!
