There's never a bad day in Laguna. Today we went to the annual Sawdust Festival in the canyon. What a great way to jump start the Christmas Season. There were approximately 120 vendors/artists displaying their wares. Live music, a beer garden and a couple of places to pick up a bite or a glass of wine. Parking is a pain, as it always is in Laguna. We lucked out and found a spot 200 ft. from the entrance. If you are unfamiliar with the area or don't want to hassle with finding parking, they do have a free shuttle that drops you off at the front entrance. Go online and they will tell you where to pick it up. There are locations in Dana Point, not sure about other pickup spots.
Great food, and a ton of options on tap. The vibe was great and there is a ton of room on the patio for outdoor seating. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get a beer and a bite to eat.
One of my favorite breweries in the area. Their IPAs are really really delicious. They also have a lot of good food, especially the pizzas and the sandwiches. You can also rent games from them like Uno which is fun. This would be a place I would recommend to anyone coming to Irvine or Laguna
Excellent place to ponder over a good beer and a nice bowl of Asian salad. The vibe is friendly and laid back.
But try to avoid Wednesday evenings when there is a painting workshop going on. I had a disturbing encounter with a rude elderly lady who wanted my 17 month old kid to shut up and made a whole scene around it. This is a BEER BAR, lady. Not an art gallery. The friendly staff was not to blame. They handled the situation friendly and without hassle.
Staff is awesome! Beer selection is top notch! Doggies welcome and there are many. TVs inside for sports viewing. Parking nearby but can be busy on summer weekends.
