My daughter Madison has been taking violin lessons for about a year now, and she has been having a lot of fun. Tammy teaches in a very unique way that makes learning the violin easy and exciting. Madison has been enjoying the lessons immensely and has been playing more in tune. Tammy is patient and caring. I definitely recommend Tammy to anyone who wants to or has been playing violin. She is a great teacher!
My daughter has been taking violin lessons with Ms. Tammy for over a year. She started out at a very young age and didn't understand a lot of the techniques, but Ms. Tammy was very patient and persistent in making sure she learns good form. Ms. Tammy is incredibly patient and kind to my little daughter. I am confident that Ms. Tammy will give her a good foundation of skills to become a strong violinist.
I'm an adult beginner at violin and have been learning from Ms Tammy for about 10 months. She is a very thorough instructor and teaches more than just violin technique: she also trains your ear, sheet music reading, and music theory. She is also an incredibly sweet and kind person and makes it easy to look forward to lessons. I plan to continue taking lessons as long as she continues to teach them.
Tammy is the best violin teacher there is! We now have 2 daughters taking lessons from her. She gives them an excellent foundation, as she works very hard to train their hand, fingers and wrist to play correctly and beautifully, and also trains their ears to play in perfect tune. Our children started as beginners and we are confident that they will become advanced violin players under her guidance. She is also patient and kind, making learning the violin so enjoyable, as she inspires them to advance. We give her our very highest recommendation!
I have a 9 year old son who has been taking private lessons with Tammy since two years ago. I am very happy with the way she teaches and her method. The time you spend with her it's all instructions and not even a second of it wasted. Her tuition is very reasonable. Tammy is very kind and nice and a very caring teacher. I am very happy we found her.
