Laguna Parent Participation Preschool

I spent 2 years at this school with my daughter. It is a wonderful, magical experience that has taught us so much. I say "us" because the teachers + director grow the child, family and community. Yes, it is WORK , but good work, and so worth it. The caliber of STEAM play based curriculum that my child received was taught by nurturing teachers and supported by parents. Some of the amazing highlights of the time spent there was the creative play room, which rotates throughout the year. My daughter's favorite was "Pet Store", which nurtured her love of animals. Fantastic multicultural days- full of food, cultural traditions and education. The outdoor components of the classes are inspired. The school garden and composting area teaches sustainable responsibility. I could go on and on so you just need to see it all on a tour...

A play based school that will surround your child with a loving like minded community ( because parents are active here). My son's emotional intelligence has grown by leaps and bounds under the guidance of his preschool teachers. And LPPP has taught me too. Helped me honor my whole child and his emotions without being lax. Helped me learn about early childhood learning, and what options are out there for our next step in school.
