Dr. Floyd has been my optometrist for over 20 years and she and her entire office staff have always been excellent, accommodating, friendly and efficient. I recently started seeing flashing lights in one eye - one of those scary "call your doctor right away" symptoms - and Dr. Floyd and her staff fit me into her very busy schedule on an emergency basis on a Saturday morning. She did an extremely thorough exam and did not make me in any way feel rushed or that I was imposing on them; she explained exactly what was happening, what to watch out for, when to come back for a follow up, and she was very reassuring; I felt I was in extremely good hands. At every single appointment I have ever had with her, she strikes a perfect balance between intelligent, well-trained, thorough and professional, with a calm, caring and personable bedside manner. Her communication skills are excellent. Her office is always meticulously clean and orderly; her staff is always efficient, pleasant and helpful. I feel extremely lucky that I have such a good eye doctor and would highly recommend her.
