Belinda's Care

Belinda was wonderful with our dad during his last 9 months. She treated him like her own father and for that we are so great full!

It is a true pleasure for me to write this letter of reference for Belinda Provini, who had worked as my mother’s caregiver. Looking after someone who had advanced dementia and Parkinson’s was a difficult task but Belinda handled it like a pro.
Belinda is compassionate by nature and is always positive about things. She is someone who has great devotion to logic and an eye for detail, providing a warm caring attitude with the ultimate in professional caregiving.
During the time Belinda spent working with my mother, she provided her with much needed companionship and conversation, medication support and assistance with incontinence and also worked with her nutrition. I truly believe that because of her eagerness to help, she made my mother’s life easier than they would have been otherwise.
I fully recommend Belinda for a caregiver position as I believe that she is completely capable of providing exceptional care – both on a physical and emotional level – by maintaining her ward’s dignity.

Belinda has provided me with care in the recent past.
Her care giving activities are numerous and all are excellent.
Belinda steps beyond the traditional definition of care giving.
For example, the following are the activities I appreciated very much and some of which I was not expecting to have been provided:
- cleaning refrigerator and oven
- whole house cleaning
- washing artificial plants
- watering live plants
- cabinet shelf cleaning
- prescription pick up
- organized a disarrayed 2-car garage
- paying bills
- buying stamps and envelopes
- visits to department stores for knick knacks
- a trip to the library for CDs and books was provided
- grocery purchases
- suggesting and taking me to nearby outings such as movies and the museum
- wheel chair assistance for both hard surface and beach sand wheelchair
- Belinda expended all efforts to keep me be entertained in my home and away
- her years of experience has certainly benefited me in settling my emotional state during recovery and added to my general comfort

While with me, Belinda was my friend and catered to my whims..
