I hope this review helps you in choosing the right workers compensation attorney. I suffered a hernia injury while working for an employer who did not want to be liable. My employer said I was not an employee because I was undocumented and there was no record of me working there. Before seeing this attorney I sought help from another attorney who turned me away. Ms. Dholakia Assured me that I would be able to recover some compensation and that it would be a matter of proving my employment. Like she promised she brought forward the people from my company and took their declaration under oath and proved I was working for them. As my case moved forward I was not allowed to work full duties and required to be given modified work duties due to my condition. My employer again refused to give me work because I was not authorized to work for them or any company due to my legal status and they also did not want to pay me benefits For being off work. Ms. Dholakia again fought for me and proved that regardless of my citizenship status I was entitled to Temporary Disability and protected under California’s Laws. In the end Ms. Dholakia fought hard for me and proved my case to be a good one. I received a nominal amount of compensation, when I thought that I was not going to be given anything. This attorney is someone you can believe in and trust. She kept good communication with me. Her staff all are great. Eduardo is her Spanish speaking assistance and is also very knowledgeable. Between Ms. Dholakia and her staff I was always informed.
