A Dressy Occasion

Reading reviews honestly made me so nervous to go here, but I had a great experience with A Dressy Occasion!
I found the perfect wedding dress and thought Donna and her associate (I can't remember her name) were absolutely lovely and sweet and great to work with. The price of my dress was so reasonable too. Finding modest gowns is so hard, but they had styles I wanted and even ones I didn't think I'd love but ended up loving!
When I went in, I knew I wanted a good train, a neckline that showed my collarbones, and for it to be form fitted. The dress I got has sequins and is so beautiful!!! The only good thing about covid weddings, is that I get to wear it again when I can have a wedding celebration.
It did take a long time to receive it, even with it being expedited so beware of that if you're planning a wedding within 6 months, you'll be crunched on time (at least I was!) I wish she had a store in california like the one in Arizona.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the veil. I know they go through somewhere else for the veil, but I was not happy with how it turned out. I wanted a veil that laid across my head, like a mantilla without the lace. I showed a picture of what I wanted, and what I ended up with was nothing like what I showed them. It was super puffy with a comb that goes in back (a typical standard veil. Not ugly, but not what I envisioned.) Then I paid to have it altered to be more flat so I'd be happy wearing it. I couldn't wear it the way I envisioned, so I didn't love it but had no time to find a replacement. It also got torn to shreds just during the hour at the temple. I had to buy a new one for our future wedding and bridal photos.

Overall I highly recommend! Very happy with my dress, and I cannot wait to wear it again! Thankful for a beautiful modest dress that was affordable.

OH! They also have other modest dresses too that I love! I wore one for my engagement session.

I went to Davids Bridals and i couldn't find what i was looking for. I did my research and googled and came across A dressy Occasion! To be honest, i was unsure about visiting this place in the beginning, but i'm so glad i did! i found exactly what i was looking for. A Modest Wedding Dress! Every time i know someone is getting married, i always tell them about this place.

It’s been 3 months since my wedding and I am still in LOVE with my dress!! On top of my wedding dress I also got all my bridesmaids dresses from A Dressy Occasion and all my bridesmaids loved the dresses. I had a really good experience going in and finding dresses - everyone was so friendly, helpful and attentive. The only thing I wish they had was a dress in every swatch color so you can see the color on the dress before you order. I had a hard time choosing a color because they didn’t have any dresses in the colors I was trying to decide on. But other than that everything was great and the dresses came in early!! I definitely recommend this company.

My mom was worried I wouldn't find the dress I wanted cause it was so 'simple.' I couldn't be more happy with the dress I got! Donna is great! I bought my dress only from seeing the photo online. She let me try dresses on that were similar but they just sold out of mine couple weeks before I came into the shop. At the end of the night I got married I still didn't want to take it off. It made me feel like a princess!

I recently went to A Dressy Occasion to look for a wedding dress! I had just found it online and made an appointment. Donna was so nice and it was clear that she knows what she's doing. And the dresses were all beautiful! I don't think I tried on one that I disliked. She let me choose some styles and pulled out others that she thought I would like. I recommend A Dressy Occasion to anyone looking for a modest, beautiful wedding dress.
