  I love Tilden. We're so lucky to have the amazing Tilden/Regional Redwood/Chabot park system in the Easy Bay. Amazingly network of beautiful, varied and well kept trails for running hiking and biking.
  
  Really fun activities for younger kids - a working little farm carousel and best of all, miniature steam train! Which my kids love, especially the two tunnels and admiring the engine post-ride.
  
  Magical place to reground with nature ????

  Very peaceful setting. Amazing how large of a variety of native plants there are here. Grounds are meticulously cared for.

  This park is great for driving and hiking. The drive is great if you are a passenger, but driving can be interesting as you have to watch for other cars and cyclists.
  
  Great views of the Bay Area water, SF skyline, bridges, etc. They have the steam train railway, botanical gardens, merry-go-round, and tons of other things to do here.

  Wonderful place to go spend a day and be in nature. Lots to do at many different spots. Great for large or small groups, and really good for kids to introduce them to mother nature and the parks and trails they have to offer. The feeding zoo is wonderful for them too so they can interact with animals in their environment.

  As a young family we love taking our 2 year old to the steam train. He loves going. It is $3 per ride which is very good as the ride is pleasant and very reasonable length for the ride. We always come back whenever we come visit as we live in LA.
