  CC was an awesome guide! She told us lots of cool information about the murals and areas we walked by. The food was diverse and plentiful. Great time!

  I decided I wanted to surprise my husband with a food tour for our anniversary and this group was wonderful to accommodate us at the last minute. CC was our guide and she has an amazing wealth of knowledge about Sacramento’s neighborhoods. We’ve lived here 10 years but learned more from her in 3 hours than we have the last 10 years! The food was delicious and it was fun to discover the variety of food venues the area. We highly recommend local food tours!

  Amazing tour. We did this tour with my family along with 2 kids (5 and 7) and we all loved it. The food was exceptional (plenty of food) and we would have never known about these places had we not gone on this tour.

  Thanks for a fun, local and affordable experience! It was great to spend time learning more about the area, the art, food, and people who have made Sacramento worth visiting. The food was delicious and we were full by the end. We even made some new friends from our tour group. Thank you Local Roots for your service, building relationships within the city, and being considerate of your guests!

  Local Roots Food Tour is a great tour!
  Our move to Sacramento is definitely enhanced with what we learned on this tour. Our guide, Dawnie, is knowledgeable, very friendly, and a bundle of wonderful energy. Her enthusiasm and pride for this city is a 10 of 10. The food and drink that we experienced were all excellent.
  A great afternoon, and a we highly recommended this tour as way to spend a fun afternoon in Sacramento. Cheers!
