Log Cabin Ice Cream

Quaint little family ice cream place which offers delicious ice creams and lovely place to sit, relax and eat

Great place to get good ice cream! We thought the place was close because the business is located around back. They have a nice little Courtyard so you can enjoy your ice cream out there. Ice cream was good. However, a small dish of ice cream was $6 each.

Walking distance from Kings Beach. The Rainbow Sherbet is very good. About $5.50 each. Not too crowded here. Has many seating areas outside the store. Will definitely come back.

Ice cream and gelato spot with outdoor dining area. It’s located behind a building (you’ll notice the line up people along the ramp if you’re there after dinner). Street parking is available and there was a small lot with limited parking. Credit cards are accepted. There are two mixed-use bathrooms available (and they have a rosemary mint soap!).

There were only two employees working so the line did move a bit slowly, but to their credit, they were still friendly and were doing their best. We got a one scoop hot fudge sundae that came whipped cream, chopped peanuts, and a cherry. We opted for strawberry ice cream, which was icy. However, they gave us a generous portion of hot fudge, which made me happy. The outdoor area is cute and there are tables available for big groups. They also have smoothies, gelato, and milkshakes available. Overall, it’s a homey spot to grab dessert.

I absolutely loved how they had at least seven different gluten-free options, and they were very amenable to making changes to the menu based on your preferences. For example, you could put your Crabs Benedict on top of spinach instead of regular egg muffins or even gluten-free bread. I also get a side of gluten-free pancakes which were absolutely delicious and really big. It was Swedish style pancakes! Also, I got a peppermint Italian soda that was less sugary, and very delicious. I would definitely come back here again, if I was in the area.
