Best part about the hotel is the free strawberry and cucumber water in the lobby.
Gym is quite small.
Good spas.
Good rooms.
Friendly service.
Great looking area around resort.
This place is absolutely breathtaking and by that I mean the views are nice and everything there is great. I loved the setup of the place and me and my coworker’s room was a great setup. I had a king suite while he had a double beds setup which our rooms were connected so we were able to share the kitchen that was in the king suite. The restaurants in that place can be a bit on the pricy side so if you’re trying to save a bit of money you can go to save mart or any grocery store in Truckee to buy your foods which is only like 5-7 minute drive. The service there was great, very kind, attentive, and respectful. I thought it was unique that they have foreigners of different race working the front desk. My only dislike of the place was the guest parking and the amount of stairs. It just felt so never ending and on top of that, being at a high elevation, it really does take my breath away dealing with all them stairs. But anyways, I still enjoyed the place, best place I’ve stayed so far when it comes to working out of town!
From the ski in / ski out experience to the beautiful design and layout of the rooms and the resort as a whole, this place is well worth the stay! If you are looking for the best prices, make sure to check out Airbnb, as we got a great deal that way. The only negative is that the parking is a bit of a walk and that's still $20 per day in addition to the daily resort fee.
This was an amazing place to stay and enjoy great scenery, relaxing environments, and great food. We did not even go skiing or snowboarding and still had a wonderful stay. Definitely eat at the resort restaurants as each one had some really good food. Lastly, being part of the Olympic Palisades, there are plenty of nearby a activities to do as well. I plan to go back and bring my children as it is very family friendly.
