2nd Street Cinema

Very nice theater. Love the set up. It is set up to where not everyone is all in the same place. You pay for tickets in the front then you move over to the snack bar. After you got through with your tickets and pick up food you may have ordered and your soda, condiments, napkins and silverware. After go to your theater where your movie is. Not over crowded, but it is a new theaters. Reclining seats a plus.

My son and I love visiting this location. Seats are reclining, each seat has an individual tray for your food and the theater is always a
clean. The staff is always nice and welcoming. They have everything from hot food, to snacks, and have free refills on drinks. We always like driving up to Beaumont to catch a movie premiere here. Can't wait to come back. Great movie experiences always.

The seats are very plush, comfortable and recline like a La-Z-boy recliner. The decor is modern and sleek. The popcorn was okay. There was nothing fancy on the menu. It just had the typical movie theater food options. I did not try anything because, meh, so I can't comment on it. I would've liked the volume in the theater to be a little higher (i don't like hearing another movie when I'm watching my own) but I know that's a personal preference. Overall, a great addition to the city of Beaumont!

I really enjoyed this theater!! Just saw a movie on the Dolby Atmos screen and the sound was incredible. A great perk from this movie theater is that there are reclining seats in the Dolby Atmos auditorium which makes for a comfortable time. The only thing that needs some work at this theater is the bathroom cleanliness, it was very dirty. Overall, loved this theater and will be returning soon!

The name is 2nd Street but it comes 1st in my book! It's a small and unassuming theater with 13 screens, 2 of which are their GIANT screens with Dolby Atmos sound. There is no traditional box office here, but instead self service kiosks to purchase tickets or pick up the tickets you've purchased online. Though I found out later you don't need to pick up your tickets, you can go straight to the ticket taker and they'll scan your phone. At the concession stand you'll find all the classic movie theater fare. This is also where you'll purchase beer, wine, and mixed drinks. It is worth noting that if you ordered a soda you'll fill that up yourself at a coke freestyle machine around the back past the ticket taker, which I appreciated because then the concession line isn't held up from having to fill drinks. This area is also where you'll pick up any ordered food. Once you enter your theater you'll find your seats by looking at the illuminated plaques showing row and seat numbers on the front of each seat. Each seat has a small table tray and large cup holder which was almost too big for my beer cup. The seat is powered and reclines, but not so much that it's uncomfortable or felt like I was laying down. On the recline controls I did notice there is a USB port to charge your devices though phone usage is discouraged. I really enjoyed this theater and can see myself coming back numerous times, even if I didn't live locally.
