Sasha did an excellent job repairing my Martin guitar. I was apprehensive having anyone work on it since I’ve never used a luthier before. I have witnessed Sasha's obsession with precision and quality many times over the years, but he really outdid himself lately when he helped me out when I bit more than I could chew, trying to put together a fretless Stratocaster-type guitar... You know a master of his trade when he tackles something new and unusual, and does a flawless job anyway, which is precisely what happened here. Within a week, the guitar was up & singing; the fretless neck installed, the new pickup installed, all ready to go, and by now I already even have some recordings I've done with it.

I have used Sasha’s skills to help restore countless string instruments from zithers to mandolins to fretted violins. His workmanship is incredible. He has stabilized 100+ year old instruments that we thought might not be able to be saved. This often entailed bracing instruments internally, building new parts to replace missing pieces, refinishing surfaces that were badly damaged, building or repairing fret boards, and restringing some hand-tied instruments. I would highly recommend Sasha for any string instrument build or repair you have. I also play a beautiful zither that he built (including case) from scratch - it is an amazing instrument!
