Pepitos

I'd been wanting to try this for a while. Adan was our server, and he was great. Very attentive to what we needed. As soon as he saw our drinks going low, he'd come to refill them. I had the Spinach Limon water [no refills] and some regular water on the side. I have to say the spinach water was definitely satisfying. I tried the Enchiladas Morelia. They were pretty good. I definitely loved the salsa that was provided when we first arrived. The chips were good, too. My husband tried the bacon wrapped shrimp. I have to say they were not the best. They were deep-fried, which made them extremely greasy. He's had them at other places which are cooked stove top which, in my opinion, are more enjoyable. He ate 1 shrimp and gave up trying to eat any more. The rice and beans were delicious. Overall, the food was enjoyable. I didn't think it was too expensive, but I would prefer to be able to see the pricing on the menu. Sometimes, I'll choose what to eat based on that. I wouldn't want to pay $10 for just a taco. Not that Pepitos tacos cost that much. The restaurant didn't really change at all from the way it was when it was a Coco's. There was only one other patron in the restaurant when we went [Monday at 4pm]. After reading some of the reviews, I was glad Adan provided the best customer service possible. I will definitely be coming back in the future. I hope management pays attention to the reviews and tries to improve. I always hate seeing restaurants go out of business. We spent $52 plus $10 tip on 2 entrees, 1 soda, and 1 Agua Fresca.

Well to start off it was our first time here. The girl said the wait would be 35 mins we waited an hour to be called and be seated. Service was very slow but at the end of our meal our server explained why it was the way it was. The food was good but the service should of been better. Our waiter was real nice tho.

As advertised, our waitress was spot on and very attentive to our needs. The food was a little pricey; however overall it was deliciously done. We are planning on returning and would recommend Pepitos for all occasions of dining. Our waitress seemed nervous at first but warmed up to us as her radiant personality came out. We were highly satisfied, there for our date night.

Loving this place! Came other nite for glass of wine on date night just to check out the vibe. Came back again with family now. Great food and service. Authentic Mole. Fajitas came with real Crema. Beans actually had Cotija instead of just shredded mozzarella on top. Margarita's are massive. Had to ask wifey to drive home before ordering 2nd (both with Grand Marnier).

For right now it is only open 4-9 for dinner however that will most likely change in a couple weeks. Food was delicious and tasted fresh. We got the fajitas and the kid’s quesadilla. Potions were on the smaller side but delicious. We will be going back and hope they do taco Tuesday like the canyon crest location.
